Tom Ince: “Fui vicino all’Inter, ma il cuore mi disse Inghilterra”

Era l’estate 2014. L’Inter sembrava fosse ad un passo dall’acquisto di Tom Ince, figlio d’arte dell’ex nerazzurro Paul, ma quando ormai sembrava tutto fatto, con il ragazzo che si trovava in Italia, ci fu un clamoroso retrofront, Tom non se la sentii di lasciare la sua Inghilterra, e così decise di restare in Premier. L’attaccante inglese, attualmente in forza all’Huddersfield Town, è tornato a parlare di quell’episodio ai microfoni del Telegraph: “Quando l’Inter mi voleva ero al San Siro, sarebbe stata una grossa opportunità, ma il mio cuore mi disse di restare in Premier. Prima ancora, nel 2013, fui ad un passo dal Liverpool, ma il presidente del Blackpool bloccò tutto. Ci rimasi molto male, già sognavo di poter giocare nei Reds.”
